"What a fantastic vacation!! If you want a little taste of everything in Italy, this is the trip for you! We began our trip in Rome, with a day trip to the beautiful island of Capri. We then traveled to Florence and took a tour of Tuscany visiting Sienna, San Gimignano and Pisa. We ended our wonderful stay in Venice, taking another day trip to Murano, Burano and Torcello. The history and beauty is breathtaking! Maureen was a fantastic and fun tour guide! She took great care of us! She was very organized and handled every bus, boat, airline and museum ticket. "This past September I went to Italy with Maureen's tour and it was GREAT! She had scheduled the "hot spots" for us to visit if we wanted, with tickets already purchased. We had free time to roam or shop. Our hotels were very nice and located in the middle of everything so it was easy to walk to most everything. The bus to NYC was nice with bathroom stop, lunch and snacks. We zipped through the airports and all transportation; taxis, trains, boats and buses were booked in advance. The Colosseum is amazing, the free walking tour of Venice was educational and interesting. The countryside, mountains, vineyards, olive and lemon trees were beautiful. Great wine, food and leather. "I was fortunate to travel with Maureeen and group to Italy in September of 2015. With 10 days to travel and explore, Maureen packed our trip with beautiful things to see and do in Rome, Florence and Venice. The trip was a quick "look/see" at amazingly beautiful and interesting places, stirring the desire to go back and explore some places at a more leisurely pace (with Maureen in charge of course!) at some future time. It was my first time traveling abroad and all my fears disappeared when I saw how competently Maureen handled all our travels, tours and hotel accommodations. Tickets were purchased in advance and we only needed to "report" to breakfast and our meeting spot and off we went! You must be ready to walk on this tour, comfortable shoes are a must! and some days we logged several miles. However most of the walking is strolling and you are seeing so many new and beautiful things you really don't notice the passing miles (till the end of the day when you finally fall into bed dreaming of the places you saw that day!). Maureen was very accommodating to the group and allowed time for shopping (or napping!) and exploring the many, many food options we had for evening meals. This is a beautiful tour. I will never forget the things I saw and the things I learned about this country.
